Food is good in terms of taste and quantity. Service staff is super friendly and ambience is perfect with a cozy fireplace inside and outside. We tried the apple walnut salad, fettuccine Alfredo pasta, blackened chicken tacos and Nashville chicken burger. We liked the tacos and salad. We loved the warm sticky toffee pudding.

Came here with a group of 4 and we were all impressed. We ordered the fried chicken with buffalo sauce (that cast iron presentation was a nice touch), the French dip sliders with a really solid salad, a burger with fries, and the cocktails were genuinely great — the chili-rimmed one with dried citrus was a showstopper. Everything came out well-seasoned and the portions were generous. The vibe inside is warm and lively without being too loud. Great spot to unwind after a day in the park. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Yosemite — don’t just grab something quick, make time for this place.

We stayed at the hotel, so we ate there for lunch and dinner 3 days. I don't mind paying a premium to eat on property but the food lacked flavor. The chicken tacos needed seasoning.... the chicken was dry and needed salt/pepper. The salsa also had no flavor, not even sure how that is possible. I also had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, there was the tiniest amount of beef on the roll. I actually removed a 1/3 of the roll since it was just really dry bread. Our daughter ordered a grilled cheese, the cheese was not melted, nor was the bread hot. The nachos were tasty and probably our favorite thing we ordered. Cocktails were good.

We ate outside twice. first was a dinner service. We ordered clam chowder, chicken tacos, kids, cheese pizza, kids chicken tenders. The food was on point although the service was slow. I had to wait quite a few times for the waiter.

After ordering the buffet we weren’t offered coffee or juice which is part of the buffet. I had to ask for it late into breakfast, which was disappointing. There is nothing special about the food. Scrambled eggs were just that, slightly overcooked. Sausages were plain. Waffles were ok and at least the syrup was hot. The interesting thing about this buffet is that other name brand hotels that offer complimentary breakfast also offer the same things but here it’s $25 per person. My son ordered French toast and it came with regular size bread. I’m used to Texas size bread and bread isn’t expensive. If you want to save money, get patty from the store and coffee from your room. Otherwise, lower your expectations for breakfast.

Restaurant is located within a gorgeous lodge and we had some fun warming up by the fire, admiring the Christmas Tree and roasting complementary marshmallows after dinner. A bit disappointed by the highly salted food that sounded great on the menu, but wasn't as fresh and delicious as I hoped. There's ice skating at the lodge, but it was raining when we visited. Can't beat the convenient location in regards to grabbing a bite after exploring the trails and hiking!
